The National Aerial Firefighting Centre (NAFC) has initiated a program designed to address a national approach to developing RPAS capability and capacity. The four key areas of the program will develop a national capability roadmap that addresses:
- RPAS Capabilities – Current and Future
- RPAS Doctrine
- RPAS Procurement and Registry
- RPAS Regulatory Framework

This project will advance the application of simulation techniques to enhance the training of personnel who use, manage, supervise and support aviation capabilities in Fire and Emergency Services in Australia and New Zealand.
