Fire and emergency service agencies are increasingly using Remotely Piloted Aerial Systems (RPAS) in their operations. Currently agencies procure their own RPAS fleet and NAFC does not manage procurement on their behalf.
NAFC established and facilitates an RPAS Working Group comprised of agency personnel who manage these systems, providing a space to collaborate, share knowledge, and liaise with relevant authorities regarding the development of this important capability.
